Day 4 - 4/28/23
Park Scavenger Hunt

On the last day of the program, we took students to a local park to provide them with an opportunity to learn about the ecosystem in their own backyard.

We provided handouts to the students with pictures, and descriptions to help the students identify and understand the biodiversity present in the park. The students used the handouts to identify and recognize various types of trees within the park.

By observing the different features, the students were able to differentiate between different tree species. This hands-on experience created curiosity and appreciation for the natural environment.

Students learned about the vital role that trees play in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Trees provide numerous benefits such as oxygen production, absorbing carbon dioxide, and habitat creation.
